Rainbow Six Siege Players Can Claim a Free Red Black Ice for the 5.7 USG

Rainbow Six Siege players have another reason to check the in-game Store. Ubisoft is offering a free Red Black Ice skin for the 5.7 USG as part of its 40th anniversary celebration.

Unlike the usual Black Ice Pack system, this promotion gives players a specific weapon skin without requiring a lucky drop.

Where to Find the Free Red Black Ice
The Red Black Ice can be claimed directly through Rainbow Six Siege.

Go to:

Store → Highlights → Free Gift

Scroll through the Highlights section until the Free Gift appears and claim it. After that, the Red Black Ice should be available in your Locker for the 5.7 USG.

There is no special code to enter and no challenge that needs to be completed first.

The Reward Is for the 5.7 USG
One important detail is that this Red Black Ice is weapon-specific.

The reward only applies to the 5.7 USG, so it cannot be equipped on every weapon. Players can use it when playing Operators whose loadouts include the handgun.

This is worth checking before assuming the anniversary reward is a universal Black Ice skin.

How Red Black Ice Normally Works
Year 11 expanded the familiar Black Ice design with several colored versions, including Red, Pink, Purple, and Green.

These variants can appear through dedicated Black Ice Packs. In the original Y11S1 collection, Ubisoft included 14 weapons across the four colors.

Red had a 30% color drop rate, but players still had to receive the correct weapon after the color was selected. As a result, targeting one exact Red Black Ice normally involved considerably more randomness.

The free 5.7 USG reward removes that problem.

A Useful Reward for Black Ice Collectors
Black Ice has developed a large collection around different weapons, and the addition of colored variants gives players even more cosmetics to hunt for.

Players who regularly collect R6 Charms may therefore want to claim this reward even if the 5.7 USG isn't one of their most-used weapons. It still adds a guaranteed colored Black Ice to the Locker without depending on a pack opening.

More Rainbow Six Siege Customization
Siege customization extends beyond weapon skins, with Operator cosmetics, charms, esports bundles, portraits, and other content available throughout the game.

Players searching for other Cheap Rainbow Six Siege Items may also find Siege-related digital products through gaming marketplaces such as z2u.com. These are separate from the anniversary promotion, which should be claimed directly from the Rainbow Six Siege Store.

Don't Miss the Free Gift
The biggest advantage of this promotion is that there is no RNG involved.

Instead of opening packs and hoping for the right Black Ice combination, players can directly add the 5.7 USG Red Black Ice to their collection.

If you're interested in Black Ice cosmetics, check Store → Highlights → Free Gift and claim the reward while it remains available.
